video Installation

Video Installations is a form of contemporary art that uses the combinations of video technologies and art installation to fabricate a masterpiece. 

Impressed by this form of art, I was inspired to create my own. I wanted to make something that was thought provoking thus making my audience an active one. 

The Box. The concept shows how easily us, as members of society conform to what we see on television, sometimes subconsciously . The boxes in this installation represent us as empty vessels waiting to be used and filled up by the media. We  as people have no identity except what is imputed into us,which makes sense in terms of the hypodermic needle theory.

I’ve written a little review of one of the films I’ve most recently watched and loved. If you’re a fan of James McAvoy like I am, you won’t want to miss this 

As one of my very favourite actors, James McAvoy plays yet another outstanding role as a hallucinating sociopath bent copper. This film, puts the words ‘Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll’ to shame with its mounts of Cocaine, highly explicit sex scenes and music loud enough to throw you out of your seat.
Bare in mind that the titling of the film compliments the contents of the film, so DO NOT BE FOOLED!

Being a Danny Boyle fan, it’s clear to me that director Jon S. Baird was obviously inspired by ‘Trainspotting’ .
